For those in a group who do not fish, or just want to experience other things Belize, we can arrange other excursions as well. Most of these are full day trips leaving around 7:30 am and returning around 5pm (lunch is included in pricing). For the non-fishing family members, these make great excursions that coincide with those on fishing excursions, allowing those parties to still have dinner and night activities together.

Below is a sampling of non-fishing activities. Most of these activities are less than the cost of 1 day fishing per person. These can be arranged as we finalize your trip details or can be arranged once you are in San Pedro.

Diving/snorkeling Belize has the second largest Barrier Reef in the world and there are plenty of diving and snorkeling excursions that can be booked. Both full day and half day excursions are available.

Catamaran Day Cruise This is a prime example of an available snorkeling trip. The day begins by sailing to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, your first snorkling area. Then it is on to Shark Ray Alley for some snorkling and encounters with Sharks and Rays in their natural habitat. Once back on board you can rinse off in the fresh water shower and settle in for the sail to Caye Caulker. Upon reaching Caye Caulker you will have time to explore and eat lunch. After lunch is a leisurely sail back to San Pedro.

Lamanai Maya Ruins

Maya Ruins Tour There are several Maya ruins tours that can be booked, Lamanai and Altun Ha are the two most popular. These tours not only provide you with the chance to see Maya ruins, but a chance to see lots of different Belizean wildlife such as crocodiles, Iguanas, monkeys, etc.

Belize Zoo Usually combined with the Cave Tubing excursion. The Belize Zoo offers the visitor an opportunity to see Belizean animals in as close to a natural environment as possible. This is one place where you are almost guaranteed to see a Jaguar.

Zip Lining For those wishing to take a more adventurous morning, Zip Lining is for you. This is not for the faint of heart, but if you want to experience the tops of the rainforestƒthis is the only way.

Cave Tubing A very relaxing way to experience the rivers and back country of Belize. After visiting the Belize Zoo or Zip Lining you will get lunch and refreshments before getting in an inner tube and floating down a crystal clear river. What a way to unwind!!

Zip Lining

Bird Watching There are many amazing bird species to see in Belize. On any of the above mentioned tours you may get a chance to see different birds. However, if you want to devote specific time to bird watching there are several tours that will take you to a bird sanctuary or other "birding paradises". (i.e. Crooked Tree). This will increase your chances of seeing some pretty amazing birds... Including birds only found in Belize like the Jabiru. This bird stands about 4 1/2 feet tall with a wingspan of 11ft 9 inches!
